'Alex' is a definite page turner.

Do you want a book that you can't put down? Do you want a book that is so unpredictable and clever that it leaves you thinking 'did that seriously happen without me realising?' Do you want a book that can only be described as mind blowing? Then this is the book for you.
This book starts like a typical crime fiction book; it has a hook that draws you in, leaving you trying to work it out who the criminal is before your told. However, with this book, you can't. There is no way that you could work out the ending to this one. There is so many twists and turns that the book ends up in a place you never expected - it's 354 pages of pure excellence.
Now, before you run off and buy this page turner, I feel like I must warn you that this book is strange. It is definitely not for the light-hearted. When I say, 'it ends up where you wouldn't expect,' I mean it.
Even though it ends up in a unimaginable place, it is still worth reading. It is one of the best books that I have read, purely because of how unforeseeable the ending is.
